Pros

1) You will get to work on highly transactional system. 2) Easy Environment, no urgency to do anything quickly or better. 3) good company if you just want to spend free time and get salary for that, the only requirement is you should be able to make management fool and confused which is not a tough task.

Cons

1) You may be able to get opportunity to work on highly transactional system, but tech management(CTO) will force you not to bring your competency or your knowledge to enhance system, they will force you to still work with PLSQL and in DB and oldest technology, but will find you as guilty if something doesn't work. Although you may have told them 6 months back that whatever tech management is suggesting is wrong and will not work and you had better solution. 2) Investors are so worried about company's tech stack and operations that they sent external consultant to fix the issue as they didn't trust CTO or other management to fix the issue by themselves. 3) External consultant couldn't fix the problem but made it worst. 4) There is no sense of direction in tech management, every 15 days they come up with new process, they don't look into why some process is not working instead bring new process to get team confused, and then come up with new team names not sure how does it help. and then when then get into worst situation they fire lower end developer/qa/employees and make them responsible for all failure. 5) In last 6 month atleast 7-8 process change happened and only 1 and half sprint delivered and in those sprint delivery all the tickets were not delivered and we keep having lot of meetings. 6) All the old employees who build the platform has left because of failure of tech management and now no one is there to handle falling tech stack. 7) new people are being put on line if something fail, who didn't even get a chance to learn platform from old employees. Not sure how new people will be encouraged to work. 8) Tech management is absolutely pain, never let you do anything and demotivate you all the time. They run the team by lie, if you can fool them on confuse them they will go with you if you tell them exact/better solution, make them understand the failure point, they will consider you as waste. 9) There is nothing left as startup env here. 10) You will be able to understand Calculas easily then Bonus Structure here , ist 50-50% and then there are 10 or 12 part of ur 50%, and if company is 1 USD short of total target you wont get any part of 50% which depends on Company performance. Your attaendance in scrum part is equal to ur performance to finish all tickets in time :)

Pros

1.Good Domain to learn and acquire knowledge 2.Friuits -- But again its only twice weekly 3.Good sales and marketing team

Cons

1.Management is very unfair and partial to only a selected few 2.Tech management is absolutely disastrous!!!--Have no control on the team, have no clue what they want and does nothing to keep employees Motivated--But does everything to get an Emploees motivation down and leave the company eventually 3.Everyone just talks talks and talks and No delivery in Technology... All focus in on Talks and Buzz words--No longer a Tech startup 4.All the good and hardworking Tech people have left for better opportunities and all that is left is --Managers and Talkers!!! 5.Absolutely No benefits, No job security(lot of redundancies),No career growth and a Artificial bonus which is never paid as they dont manage to achieve even 25% of thiet target every year!!! 6.Company going down the drain slowly but surely -- No revival plan, Investors not interested anymore and completely close door communication. 7.No encouragement to employees, efforts not appreciated-instead always looking for scapegoats!! 8.They Are supposedly Agile but they deliver once every 3 months!!!!! and no one cares!!! A very classic example of how management can screw up a company

Pros

Large and complex systems to learn Good low level team.

Cons

1. Management does not care what goes wrong but they always wants fix, just for time being. 2. First time in my career I have seen code going directly to production and then being tested. 3. Worst scrum practices, when there is no concrete steps taken when a blocker issue is flagged. 4. Always talk, talk and talk and not put anything in action to get results. 5. Attrition rate is like 5 ppl moved out in 2 months, but management never bothered to find and resolve the issue behind that. 6. I really don't understand what magic can new recruits do when veterans are not cared and eventually move out of the company.
