Pros

Owner promises change but not much is put back into the company. Were spread thin and very hard to keep up

Cons

Need to hire more tier 2 and 3 techs. Owner needs to keep his word and also improve HR

Pros

This is a small company that’s rapidly growing. During my time you would have to work hard as stated by previous reviews, but the company and owner will reward you for hard work. Great management and HR. You get to learn a lot if you wish to dive into other areas as they’re open to you learning. The owner generously paid for a certification during my time there. Pay was fair and above similar positions in the area. Codex will be the primary name in IT support for eye care businesses in the future.

Cons

Supported clients can be very difficult to deal with depending which offices you’re assigned to, but management will have your back if there are issues. Oncall is mandatory, but as the company continues to grow this responsibility should be lessened. Employees are spread thin across the country so it can be difficult sometimes if overwhelmed, but for big projects they will have employees fly out to help if needed. Timekeeping started to want to track every minute of the week which in my experience hasn’t worked well elsewhere. Not sure if this is still in place.

Remote for those who are lucky

Cons

Be expected to work 60 hours a week, never get overtime, and then they never let you have a day off
