Pros

- It's a high quality atmosphere, everyone is unbelievably smart and is happy to share their knowledge; - Everyone is excited about their work; - It feels like we are making a real difference; - A long weekend every week leaves reduces burnout; - I feel my career is progressing quicker than peers at other research institutes or companies; - Everyone is so nice and fun to catch up with outside of work.

Cons

- You will start using machine learning terminology in day to day life and attract some odd looks; - The views in our Bristol, Culham (Oxfordshire), and London offices can't match the quayside in our Exeter head office.

Pros

The culture here is incredibly collaborative, open, and welcoming. I genuinely feel that my ideas and opinions are valued, and I’m encouraged to contribute suggestions freely. Everyone is approachable, supportive, and always willing to help or answer questions. There’s a strong positive team-player attitude that makes working here both enjoyable and motivating.

Cons

It’s a very fast-paced environment, which creates great opportunities for learning and growth, though it can be challenging at times. As the company is growing quickly, processes and structures are still evolving. On the positive side, this gives everyone the chance to contribute ideas, take ownership, and help get things done. However, the lack of clearly defined processes can occasionally create roadblocks or slow progress while teams align on the best way forward.

Pros

The culture here is extraordinary! Everyone is so genuinely approachable, collaborative and supportive. It's a privilege to work with people who are so passionate about what we're building, and are as eager to teach as they are to learn. I enjoy a very comfortable amount of autonomy on how I approach problems, and I feel like I really make a difference here.

Cons

There are days when the work is more reactionary than long-term planned. The positive spin is that there's never a chance to get bored! But it would be nice to focus on just one problem for a while rather than keep switching between three or four.
