Pros

This company has potential to be great. The mission and heart of the company is in the right place. Recycling e-waste is a growing problem and this company works hard to stay up to date with the tightest regulations.

Cons

What I was promised during the interview process was not accurate. Earning potential was nowhere near what was promised, and became worse due to a compensation plan change after the first of the year. Sales goals were nonexistent, then when implemented, were completely unrealistic. All changes done by the company were strictly for the bottom line, not to help employees. The recent comp change cut sales earnings by at least 30% and even senior sales staff have low morale and are looking for other opportunities. Turnover is high with leadership terminating employees with no documentation or potential improvement plans. In nine months, I spoke with leadership approximately 6 times. Loss of partnership with major wireless carrier caused ripples throughout organization and management is terrified of the loss of revenue (even if they refuse to admit it). Losing this partner is driving the tightening of the budget and need to cut commissions. Leaks from management allude to new hires being brought on with a base salary $20,000/year higher than existing employees.

Pros

Company is generous with compensation, bonuses, benefits, free food, etc. Very friendly staff/coworkers. Flexible with personal needs. Very positive company culture. Management listens to employee suggestions. A good deal of autonomy given to employees.

Cons

Some managers are more effective than others. Company is still working on fair/consistent employee policies. Workload can vary depending upon position.
