Pros
The people working in the trenches know their stuff. Was nice having others to bounce ideas off of or simply being able to have an intelligent, entertaining chats through-out the day.
Cons
The inability to hire high quality people to replace those who have moved on. Boss doesn't believe in telecommuting.. judges performance based on how warm your seat is at the end of the day. The warmer the better!! Start work at 7am (tho most seem to like these hours for some reason.)
