Pros
Clarus, now ebbo, is a wonderful company to work for. To start, they make it clear that they value, respect and listen to their employees. They invest in their employees and their growth by offering training budgets and encourage their employees to utilize them. They have strong leaders and managers, communication companywide is very transparent and proactive and there are frequent all employee meetings with the CEO and CFO. Employees receive appraisals 2 times a year, career guidance, merit increases once a year and bonuses once a year too. Promotions are also given out fairly. There are great employee perks like unlimited PTO, remote work, paid paternity and maternity, a group designated for DEI, training budgets, a mentoring program, management training, 2pm Fridays, a wellness program, and more. The CEO even meets with every single person in the company each year to check in with them. HR is supportive and trustworthy and SLT is knowledgeable and leads their teams well.
Cons
The only con is that we did have a layoff in October of 2022 as we are owned by growth equity, however the company seems to be in a great place since then and are doing everything they can do to ensure that doesn't happen again. They have been doing a good job at making us feel more secure by keeping financials and communication open.
