Pros

Good for new grads needing summer work:early career work. Brian (Owner) will try to grow some roles to fit personality types and generally runs a *very tight ship* Mostly pleasant clients and great team members to work with makes the day go by quickly. Work day is over at 5pm if you can arrive by 8am (Cary NC).

Cons

Job Advertised as 3 days onsite/2 remote and this was NOT the case at all. Job required min 4 days onsite owner made it clear he preferred 5 days onsite. Time is managed in Connectwise Manage. This time tracking tool is pushed on you in a salaried role, your time is expected to be kept in 10-15min intervals (all day/everyday) and must add up to 8 hrs of work per day. Every 30 mins of your day will be scrutinized down to 6 min blocks. Leadership has been using this system for over 12yrs and and notably do not mention it in the interview but then force you to use it and literally fire you if you don’t despite promising adjustment time. There will be little to no feedback before being let go either. They have a 90 day probation period they also fail to mention.. Everyone I worked with seemed happy with my progress then suddenly I was let go with no warning at all. Owner expects 50hr weeks and up to 14hrs of work in 8hr days and does not pay overtime and is unhappy otherwise, Note he will not tell you there’s a disconnect or problem either, rather he will just fire you, when offered constructive options to to resolve the issue he was happy for a day then back to laying me off.. Little to no Career Growth, anythin goitside of the immediate role would require direct sign off to avoid reprimand. Zero warning before being let go, no severance.

Pros

I’ve enjoyed working with the team here. The president/Owner prefers the quality over quantity approach and is people-first oriented. There is enough balance between work and life and opportunity to grow.

Cons

It’s not remote, I don't think thats a con because in this industry we manage physical hardware.
