Pros

homify is still-on-its-way to achieve success. There is a good product that needs a lot of hard work. It is a self-funded company. So, you are not pressured by third parties telling you what to do, and with which deadline you have to do. That gives a lot of freedom to the employees and the employer to decide on things on their own as a team. This aspect, I enjoyed the most. The people at homify are really great group of people who are hard working, smart, and friendly. You would probably become really close friends with some of them. They are still the ones that make homify a special place to work in. homify's HR team is really trying hard to increase the satisfaction of its employees. In the last couple of years it was the case of understanding what was really needed to increase the satisfaction and engagement. Company introduced various workshops that helped many of its employees. The success is celebrated a lot. If you make a successful move, it is recognised, and you get the credit for it! The company previously had 2 levels of structure (head ofs - and employees). The introduction of mid-level management eased a lot of problems, increased communication, and created a very nice bridge between the management and employees! That said, there are great opportunities for employees to get promoted, and to be acknowledged for their good work.

Cons

A growing business doesn't come with butterflies and unicorns. It comes with a lot of contrast. Contrasts that might have an effect on your day to day business. The business model is not set and stone, it changes quite often. This gives a lot of instabilities. Not only to the product itself, but also to the employees who needs to adapt to these changes. If homify ever wants to have satisfied employees, it needs to fix this problem and present a clear and strong vision to its employees. This vision is missing. Sometimes, it is hard to be heard in such a fast growing business. Things need to be done, and they have to be done. So, even if what you are stating is valuable, you might get no response. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible, because people who are leading homify disregarding many and various good ideas that could actually help the business. homify doesn't give the ultimate power to its employees. It is a flat hierarchy in the company when it comes to social interactions, and professional discussions. However, the decision making is still hierarchical. The best way to approach fixing such issues would be giving more responsibility and power to the employees and their teams which would ideally increase the idea of ownership to the product of the employees.

There aren’t any pros working for this company. You will lose money instead of earning any

Working for this company is the first thing possible. I was told that i needed to pay a30.00 start up fee. After submitting several false reviews for product i never used only looked at. I came to a what they call a new product. I needed to pay 165 bitcoin to review the product. After several days i did it against my better judgement. Continued to review the products and another new product came up that i needed to pay an additional 550.00 for. So i decided that was too much for me to invest. Needless to say I’m out of the 165.00. The management are rude and unhelpful. They were also trying to encourage me to pay the 550 with certainty that i would be reimbursed. I find this to be unscrupulous to say the least. I did keep some of the screenshot from conversation that i had with staff. I was also threatened to be sued for stating that i felt like i was being scammed.
