Pros

You get an opportunity to see how kids ruin Dad's company.

Cons

The first step, for anyone considering working for iD Commerce is too look at Linkedin profiles of the CEO and others. They list their education as attending Harvard etc., yet, what they've done is participate in six-to-eight week courses and portray themselves as Ivy League scholars.

Pros

Very caring company who balances the needs of the customers with the needs of the employees and the needs of the shareholders. Very approachable management team that are involved with the day to day. People work hard and care about each other.

Cons

The nature of the industry - ups and downs. Sometimes staffing is lean. If the expectation of working hard is a con to you then its a con.

Pros

If you're looking for a wide range of experience and are still young in your career, this is the place to go. This is the perfect place to learn what not to do. It was my first job out of college and because of the lack of staffing and educated employees you'll end up working for multiple departments at once. However, because of that you'll be able to beef up your resume.

Cons

Do not stick to their promises. Was promised a raise 3 times and a bonus 2 times which I never received. They claim to be the top 100 places to work at in Chicago however they cheated. I walked into the marketing department to see they were filling out the applications on behalf of false names and submitting it to CRAIGS in order to get nominated for that award. They want A grade employees for C grade pay. Don't stay at this company long. Very disorganized company, they haven't had a Director of IT in 2 years.
