Pros

- Nothing - Absolutely nothing lol - Spare your own sanity and mental health; do not work here

Cons

ideaTree is a business incubator, so it has several startup companies under its umbrella, including eatOS (POS machines) and influenc (their failed attempt of an influencer marketing agency). To be honest, I don't know how they manage to stay in business, because their product/idea is nothing special. The entire time I worked there, they were so stagnant and, if anything, they're going downhill. The CEO is a snobby, nitpicking and gets upset if you don't do things the exact way he wants it the first time around. All the employees look like they're walking on eggshells when they're around him; they even fake-laugh at his jokes out of fear. I know this because 1) no offense, but he's objectively not funny and 2) you can barely understand what he says through his thick Indian accent. Bad leader = bad company culture. I honestly always wondered why some of the engineers there stuck around, because the higher-ups would often talk down on them/yell at them if they made mistakes or weren't working fast enough. Instead of yelling at your employees, motivate them to do better. And then there was this one white girl there who would hire all of her friends to work there as well, and together, they formed a little posse and gossiped every day; very toxic environment. They would post job listings and openly criticize the applicants' cover letters and physical appearances lol. It felt very mean girls-esque, almost as if they were trying to relive high school because they had nothing better going for themselves in their sad little lives. Btw: Unless you're an engineer, your work there will be, pretty much, useless because it's going absolutely nowhere. No offense, but I think it's so funny that, over a year later, their little "influencer marketing agency," and business as a whole, still hasn't taken off. I wonder why LOL. I got laid off because they have no money lmao, and I'm really glad that happened because I've moved onto better things. TLDR: - Poor "leaders"/role models - Cliquey/toxic coworkers - Micromanagement (They record your computer screen) - Zero benefits - Cramped office/open layout

Pros

If you're looking for a challenge, then ideaTree is the best company to work for. Not only you get to work with cutting edge technology but also there is a great team.

Cons

The team is virtually-based so it takes time to get to know more :)

Pros

There are some really, really good people that work here. Smart, hardworking, doing their best to put up with everything.

Cons

I guarantee that all of the 5 star 'can't think of any cons' reviews that this company has were written by management. Ideatree, POSlabs, eatOS, epaisa, Reina, and a number of other companies are all under the Ideatree umbrella. The CEO insists that everyone uses incredibly invasive employee monitoring software called Time Doctor. It takes screenshots every few minutes and records keystrokes and mouse movements. You can see all of the screenshots of everyone on your team. Nothing is private, even if you have to use your own computer. Nothing gets accomplished because the CEO is constantly changing his mind. He steals ideas and designs from competitors, and after it goes through his own designers and developers and is ready for testing, he sees something else he likes from another company, steals it, and starts the lengthy process over again. He micromanages every single thing. The CEO is very disrespectful to his employees. The turnover is very high. Entire teams have quit at once. There are no benefits. Only 4 paid holidays, others you are 'allowed' to take off unpaid. Incredibly expensive health benefits for terrible coverage. No 401k. No vacation for the first year, and if you are lucky you will be offered a max of two weeks after that. Sick time is only offered if your state mandates it.
