Cons
They do not care about you. I was a little burnt out from my previous job and mDesign was a place for me to take a reset. But after being here for a while, this company has a terrible work culture. There’s no communication from upper management and they purposely hide important and shady things. They tell you that they do town halls because “transparency is important.” But each town hall is just a time to play Kahoot or have a panel on a random topic that's not very beneficial. They don’t communicate how the company is doing financially and they canceled the last town hall due to “scheduling conflicts” but it turns out they were hiding the fact that they just laid off a bunch of people. HR also tries to manipulate you into giving them a good review here. You have NO opportunity to grow here. Turnover is very high for a reason and they set no real goals for you. Workload is low and the moment you get hired you’re just told to “help the company profit”. Pay is not competitive and is also very low. Tried to ask for a raise but was denied. They promote people who don’t know what they’re doing and try to constantly tell you “We’re a family.” They treat you as a statistic and easily replaceable.
