Pros
- REALLY fast turnaround time on projects. Since there's basically no hierarchy, it's so easy to get feedback on your ideas immediately and so quick to implement projects. Also, the fact that everyone's open to hearing your ideas and test them out is great itself. - Depending on your department, you get to work with cofounders directly. They have an honest communication approach, and whilst some people may not take to this approach, it works well for me - because I know immediately if I'm producing good/bad work. - everyone is so eager to help out and work together. Since we're mostly a remote team, we rely a lot on written communication. But everyone I've worked with so far is so helpful and willing to share knowledge if they can, or point you in the right direction. - you work beyond the job description - if you notice something that needs to improve, you can just do it, regardless of whether your job description covers this.
Cons
- It's busy and there's always so many things to do. But that's really standard in the life of a start up.
