      Pros

      Great salary and flexible work hours/work from home policy.

      Cons

      Recruited by VP of development initially for a project of rewriting existing 15 years old Java monolith into micro services, but was put to work on the monolith, mostly fixing bugs. On questions what are the conditions to switch to the new project or when that would be possible I only got vague answers without any concrete answer for 7 months now. Besides this, they have major issue with employees in Croatia, no legal entity or legal team there so you have to fight for your rights about vacation days and such.

      Pros

      Working at protel means being part of a big family that works for the same goal. It is a young and dynamic company that is constantly growing so working at protel is never boring. New project bring new open positions that allow you to enhance your knowledge.

      Cons

      Parking at the office could be better.

      Pros

      There are none anymore, it used to be a great company but the acquisition by Planet destroyed it

      Cons

      Nobody cares about the staff All developers and product managers for the legacy product is gone All knowledgeable product managers for the new cloud product are gone New development is being established in India, with no know-how. The team was only selected there because the investors own that company too.
