Pros

Tem is the perfect combination of a really enjoyable place to work with good people, an awesome mission and a company that really wants its people to grow. It combines humble people with a bold aspiration, and it is perfect for people who want to stretch themselves and are driven to do their best.

Cons

It's not so much a con as a cultural thing of direct feedback and clear expectations. That is definitely something that you need to embrace because if you don't listen to feedback, and if you don't try to meet those expectations, you'll get left behind.

Pros

Great work (disrupting a whole industry) Genuinely some of the best and brightest people I've ever worked with Amazing benefits (two whole-company off-sites every year) Remote-first

Cons

The company has "gone all in" on AI: there is a 6monthly prize given out for the person who uses the most tokens, and promotions are now tied to your AI usage and your promotion of AI within the company (how many Claude skills etc. have you made and how many people are using them) Culture can feel a little culty at times.

Pros

The team is genuinely brilliant. Everyone actually gets on and pulls in the same direction. The role comes with a lot of autonomy which I really value; you're trusted to get on with things and make real decisions rather than being micromanaged at every turn. Pay is excellent for the industry and there's real scope to grow, take on more responsibility and have genuine impact on the business. You can see the results of your work, which makes a big difference day to day.

Cons

Be prepared for the workload — this role demands a lot, and you need to be comfortable with that going in. It's not for people looking for an easy ride. The pace can be intense, but for the right person it's energising rather than draining.
