The best part of Extractable is the team. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and supportive to those in need of help. I was new to the banking sector when I started and now feel like I'm an expert in the industry. The projects are challenging and the team comes together to meet the goals.
Cons
Work bleeds over into your personal time when the deadlines are approaching. I've worked several nights and weekends over the past few months. Most of the clients are great - but there are few ones I could have skipped.
Leadership was very "cliquey". If you were not one of the "old boys" you were excluded from providing input. A lot of time and energy went into the writing and constant revision of proposals, During my tenure, one proposal was revised and rewritten dozens of time. For over a year nothing was actually built although we presented and revised to proposal multiple
Fun co-workers. They seem to hire the right people for when they rubber band up and down according to how the sales team can win contracts. When things are up, they are good, but eventually the company will come crashing down.
Another good thing is that they used to offer great benefits, but last I heard, they are starting to scale back on them too in an effort to save themselves money.
Cons
Management seems to be an issue with the company. They are switching leadership at an alarming rate when I was working for them. I saw the signs, and anyone that wants to keep a constant income stream should always have a backup job lined up when a contract comes to a close just in case they decide you are suddenly 'unnecessary'.
