      Terrible pay, unorganized administration & toxic env,

      - some co-workers were helpful/friendly

      Cons

      - Low pay for amount of emotional work required -Lack of employee concerns and support -Terrible for mental health -No opportunities for prof. growth -toxic work environment -Tedious/busy work -Don't actually help victims; only band-aid their problems -SOOOO much paperwork (literally for every single thing you do, there's a document you have to fill out). Very annoying and takes time away from mission.

      Cons

      Upper management is horrible. No one is allowed to have autonomy in the company. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, has to be approved by the CEO. Which can be as little as a $50 check request for client expenses, or requesting to take an extended vacation. The CEO controls how everyone in the agency operates. The culture is tense. If you are looking for an autocratic environment, Family Rescue is the perfect place.

      Pros

      In many ways, it's a low key place. People are not uptight about dress or appearance. The mission of the organization is important.

      Cons

      Where do I begin? I have only terrible memories of the time I spent here. There is so much favoritism in the office. Just a mean, judgemental, critical sense that permeates everything. Much is expected of employees who are not rewarded with decent salaries. This is an important organization that really should do more good. Instead employees are overworked and under appreciated, and all too often the mission of the agency is ignored.
