I have been working at Flight Options full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Very understanding management and will let you work a flexible schedule.
Cons
Slow to allow movement around company.
Pros
Management is very understanding. Great working environment and opportunity for growth. Decent pay
Cons
You work holiday and weekends but the company is upfront about it so it does not come as a surprise
I worked at Flight Options full-time (More than 5 years)
Pros
good meal program, schedule ok
Cons
scheduling, maintenance, corporate leadership is lacking
Advice to Management
work with the union that was legally voted in
I have been working at Flight Options full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
Good leadership. A lot of positive reinforcement. Management recognizes those that work hard and the perks are good. Lots of advancement opportunities.
Cons
The schedule can be challenging, however they are very up front about it. There are no surprises that you will work holidays and weekends.
Advice to Management
Keep in mind that perception is reality.
Pros
I worked in the call center and it could get crazy taking client (or their administrators) flight and food requests. Some clients were more demanding than others but overall it was solid company/job at the time.
Cons
Sales staff often promised clients things we couldn't deliver-but I believe that is how sales reps are in most industries.
Advice to Management
Just provide more incentives for those working with the clients in the customer service hub.Often this group is the heart of the company and they are treated with least respect. But again, overall a good place to work in an interesting industry.

Pros
The crews are great! They work hard to safely complete trips and work as cohesively as possible. Most go above and beyond to get that done. 95% of passengers are great!
Cons
No support from the office. It seems like an "us against them" mentality. They smile to your face then stab you in the back when you turn around. (unless you are one of the few "favored ones" who get by with pretty much anything!)
Advice to Management
Respect all of your employees and don't punish the many for the sins of the few.

Pros
Good place to gain experience. And like any place some people are willing to teach if your willing to learn.
Cons
No bonus offered. There was no match for the 401k program, unlike other companies. That was very disappointing.

Pros
Paycheck share never late, owners are majority nice, food expenses covered while on the road, decent health care.
Cons
No flexibility, extremely difficult to get/take time off, extremely difficult to have vacation, awful balance between work and quality of life outside of work, petty coworkers. It feels very high school, everyone is looking for a reason to write in to management about each other. No employee morale. Quality of hotels & airlines very poor! I stayed at better places flying commercial. Everyone complains on the road but are too weak and scared to speak up to the company. If you do speak up you become a target. It's very difficult to have a life outside of this company. They do not allow any room for you
To use PTO.
Advice to Management
Communicate with employees better. Allow more flexibility, take care of your crew members, instead of always choosing the cheapest hotel or airline choose the best overall including quality, if you take care of your front line employees they will take care of your customers/owners & company! Train schedulers better and teach them to
Communicate with each other in the occ!! Stop running crews so hard and pay people what they are worth!!! Offer raises to flight attendants!!!

Pros
This was a great place to work! The upper level management team had an open door policy and made all employees feel comfortable.
Cons
The International Brotherhood of Teamsters got their grubby little claws into the pilot group. Their presence made working there quite difficult.
Advice to Management
Try your best to welcome all of the non-union employees to convince the unionized workers to ban together against the Teamsters an make every effort to remove them from the property.

Pros
You can come and go as you wish, o one really cares.
Cons
You can't trust a word they say.
There are only 2-3 decision makers at the senior level. All others are simply pawns.
They will eventually bankrupt every company they get their hands on after they bleed it dry.
No raises but kind of understandable since there are very few profits.
