Pros

You will build a very good relationship with your co-workers while you are all desperately looking for a new job.

Cons

The company is completely mismanaged. Once you are hired, your working responsibilities will be drastically different than were described to you in your interview. All employees are treated like technicians, as the owner tells you what to do and you are not given any leeway to use your engineering and scientific skill-set to improve the product development. The major motivational tool used by the owner is fear. He will remind you on a constant basis that you are easily replaceable. With the constant turnover of employees, he proves his point on a frequent basis. Benefits are minimal, as sick leave is treated as "get sick on your own time,' and holidays are far and few between. Starting pay is lower than what you can get in big industry. However, since this is a small company, low pay is generally accepted with the added incentive of future stock options with the company. Unfortunately, the owner will not allow any additional incentives, so the low pay is not offset in any fashion.

Pros

Really great experience. Everyone is so welcoming. Many bases to chose from. Now is the perfect time to join the Frontier team.

Cons

Not really any cons. Will be in reserve for a while until you can hold a hard line. You can commute to work or get a crash pad, though.
