    Positive Outlook

I have been working at GSI full-time

    Pros

Has the best healthcare benefits packages with one of the lowest contribution cost in the industry. There is a free "tele-doc" service and then all of the regular co-pay options that most companies have, but the co-pay and the employee contribution rates are some of the lowest that I have seen.

    Cons

Some of the benefits had to change (and now they cost more) due to the Affordable Care Act. The health plan was restructured, but to the credit of leadership the benefits remained almost the same as before.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide excellent healthcare benefits for employees and their families. This is a major attractor for employees with families, and it also help to retain employees when they have other job offers that pay more but have poorer benefits.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at GSI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great introduction into security integration. You will get experience in installation and maintenance.

    Cons

Disorganized, inconsistent, no culture to the company.

    Advice to Management

This company has a ton of potential but fails to truly develop its talent. It tends to take the instant gratification route in all avenues and rarely plans for the future or expansion. There are no plans to retain high end techs or techs that they spend time and money training.

    Pros

Applied to a Biotech Sales role through GSI they were very professional, transparent (providing job details, company, hiring manager, interview tips etc) , and take their time to help you 24/7 to win the job. Unlike any firm I've worked with.

    Cons

They tell you what you need to know even if it makes you better at winning the job
