      Lots of Work but Nothing Got Done

      Pros

      Girl Rising's mission is inspiring and a lot of the staff is dedicated to making the world a better place

      Cons

      Staff members worked incredibly hard but somehow no work ever got done. Management would assign long/laborious tasks and then change their mind. Company was so disorganized that ideas for events, projects, tasks, would change drastically last minute. Money seemed to be mismanaged and use of money was unclear.

      Many smart, caring people. I learned a great deal from them.

      Cons

      A lot of disorganization, bad feelings among staff who don't feel heard or respected. Low pay (except for CEO who makes large salary according to 990). Weak leadership without a lot of experience building an organization or a strong program

      Pros

      The mission has a lot of meaning and there are good people working here all around the world.

      Cons

      There seems to be a lot of chaos, wasted time and resources and disorganization which all means that the programs aren't as effective as they should be. Leadership often seems out of touch with the programs and distracted. It's not a great place to build a career.
