Pros
I was able to advance but only by pushing my way up and taking on more and more responsibility. Half day Fridays are nice and additional floating holiday days off.
Cons
Management needs a reality check. There is no transparency or visibility of motives or really where the direction of the company is going- very cryptic. They pay way under the industry average and the CEO doesn't give you the time of day unless you're a top performing sales rep or senior buyer. Much of the new management is from the Sysco club, and many of them are not qualified to be in those capacities. They do a very poor job of motivating their employees and showing that they are valued. It's a very turn and burn sort of mentality.
