I have been working at Hibu full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Job Flexibility
    Training
    Sales Tools
    On-Going Sales Training
    Benefits
Good Comp Plan IF you can sell and you can work the plan

They provide great training, all the support you need. Your success here boils down to the amount of sales talent and grit you bring to the role.

    Cons

-No cohesion within my team. Team does not collaborate and meetings offer little opportunities to engage with the team. I have heard other times are much better at this then ours

-Not really a con, but if you're not confident in your sales ability- This is not the job for you.

-Due to some Digital Service Consultants being overworked/under-trained- we have produced several sub par campaigns resulting in cancellations, charge-backs and blows to our a reputation within the marketplace. ( I do work with many great DSCs, but in the mid range spend its hit and miss on these folks unfortunately)

-Confusing and ever changing commission schedules are challenging to understand

    Advice to Management

We've got a good product that's getting better every day.

You've given the sales team everything we need to be successful other then building a team within the area level.

Need to find a way to bridge the gap between sales and production. The DSC team is spotty and seemingly overworked. Again, we have some great DSCs, but its a roll of the dice whether you'll get them or not.

Sales team is heavily penalized for letting current accounts cancel, but we often time have very little influence on the quality of campaigns.

DSCs aren't building a relationship with clients and don't like working with stressed sales members.

-Assign us a dedicated DSC team, DSC rep or just a dedicated DSC liaison
-Give Sales Team Training to identify issues and assist DSC team
-Continue being more selective in sales team hires.
    -Improve Sales Rep Retention
-Limit commission plan changes to once a quarter at most

I worked at Hibu full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Health and Dental Benefits and 401K.

    Cons

If you like cold calling the entire day this is the job for you. Digital products are not anything special that other companies don’t sell. Fulfillment processes could be better

    Advice to Management

Give new account reps a better chance at succeeding and making money by handing down past reps accounts. Management just keeps accounts to themselves so Company doesn’t have to pay out on them, but it drives down customer satisfaction and service.
