Pros

Decent pay, good training systems.

Cons

1. Compensation & Pay Practices * In my experience, compensation structures changed frequently, particularly around bonuses. When bonuses increased, adjustments were sometimes made with limited transparency or clear rationale. * I observed instances where compensation for certain roles (e.g., video editors and videographers) appeared significantly below industry benchmarks, which created challenges for managers responsible for hiring and retention. * There were also situations where previously agreed-upon compensation or bonus expectations were later revised or disputed, even after internal approval processes. ⸻ 2. Leadership & Company Values * The company promotes “lead by example” as a core value; however, my experience did not always reflect consistent alignment with this principle. * During client onboarding, I observed occasions where team experience had been presented in a way that did not fully reflect reality, which could create misalignment between client expectations and delivery. * There were internal discussions around client performance where tactics such as artificially boosting engagement; we were told not to tell clients if they questioned it. This raised ethical concerns among team members. * Leadership accountability was a recurring concern. Some team members expressed frustration with inconsistent performance standards across management, often seeing team members promoted despite not generating meaningful results for clients and limited follow-through on internal feedback. * When requesting clarification on decisions, responses could sometimes be perceived as dismissive or lacking transparency. ⸻ 3. Turnover & Team Stability * Over a recent 6-month period, multiple team members departed following leadership changes. * Common themes cited included limited growth pathways, lack of benefits, and misalignment with company direction. * Discussions around introducing benefits were, at times, framed as cost-prohibitive. ⸻ 4. Contractor Payment Concerns * There were instances where contractors experienced delays or disputes regarding final payments after departure or contract completion. * In my case, previously approved bonuses were later deemed invalid despite having passed internal approval steps, which was inconsistent with prior experience during my tenure. * I am aware of several other individuals who reported similar challenges in receiving final compensation, and additional details can be provided if required.

Pros

They have workshops about content and strategy that help you grow in social media knowledge They don't require too much experience to join

Cons

-You are hired as an independent contractor meaning you get no employee benefits but you are expected to give employee commitment like working 9-5 no flexibility in the hours -They use a tracker app that monitors your mouse and keyboard activity and are required to have a certain amount of activity to log your hours to get paid. - Huge micro management culture but I think it may depend on the manager you are assigned to - They care more about the clients than the employees, viral videos come first -The company culture is a bit weird, since it is fully remote there isn't much interaction or community aspect to the interactions -The salary is not competitive at all but you are asked to do a lot -It is hard to have work life balance since you are required to give an action plan whenever you need time off. And all your work is expected to be done during your time away which is unrealistic

Pros

The company is growing quickly, and it genuinely feels like employees are growing alongside it. Management is attentive, supportive, and consistently available when you need guidance or feedback. The work is engaging and fast-paced. There’s a lot of room for creativity, ownership, and bringing new ideas to the table. Great environment for learning new skills and developing professionally. Opportunities to expand your abilities and take on new challenges as the company evolves.

Cons

Because the company is growing quickly, processes and systems are still being built, so things can feel a bit unstructured at times.
