Pros

Presenting to stakeholders and partners, about legislative policies and their impact on hunger and poverty in our communities. Inspiring, enlightening and rewarding.

Cons

I was terminated without warning (and despite stellar reviews from external partners) the day after documenting (via email) to administration that they should treat employees with dignity. High turnover- 10 positions/yr.

Pros

Great Benefits and the wages aren't too bad either.

Cons

Textbook people-centric management from top to bottom. You need to buy into this style 100% otherwise it might not be very enjoyable. There is often a lot more to the position than what is shown on the job description. Lots of management overhead.

Pros

Benefits. The food at the monthly staff meetings. Other than that, absolutely nothing

Cons

Just about everything else. They treat you like a number, and their high turnover shows that. Yearly reviews are months late, and they get upset with you when you ask about them. Management doesn't help you grow. They are for sure dictators and not leaders
