      *Remote work two days a week * kind people to work with * good benefits, fair pay *sense of employment stability

      Cons

      *lack of effective training *red tape *upper management doesn't seem to care about us *workload can be a lot *can be hard to learn the laws and regulations well enough to enforce them *periodic trips to Springfield are required, for occupational clinic visits and social events

      Pros

      Very stable job with good work life balance and benefits. Exposure to a lot of different industries, at least on a surface level.

      Cons

      Red tape on everything makes it feel like you have very little independence and autonomy to make your own decisions. A lot of practices are outdated as well, many aspects of the role could be done more efficiently but the slow rate of change in government prevents that.
