I have been working at Integware full-time

    Pros

I feel like they always try to do the right thing. That doesn't mean they are mistake free but can be challenged if they are doing something wrong. The people are all great to work with too. The company went completely virtual about 18 months ago and while it was difficult to transition to for some I love working from home or the customers site now.

    Cons

The size of the company can create venerability. Some projects are hard to win because of perceived risk and when projects end it's difficult to have another project perfectly lined up to start.

I worked at Integware full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

Highly talented people, who are passionate about teamwork and success. A great learning and growth environment. Recognition, rewards and customer focus are also very important aspects of the culture.

      Cons

It felt overly driven by concepts of integrity and courage, which changed the atmosphere of the culture into one of "being evaluated and tested" to see if you could fit in. This new emphasis shifted the focus of the company from desiring to improve and do well, to must improve and fit in. Militant attitude?

      Advice to Management

Accountability is important but not the only factor in success. When major changes in management structure occur, trust, communication and encouragement are critical for undertaking major changes and initiatives. The Sales cycle was at the heart of most of the operational process problems and this ultimately lead to business shrinkage. Work on this problem was ultimately impossible without the right sales leadership....

I have been working at Integware full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

The company provides an environment to grow and learn many aspects of the PLM business. The company operates with open communication and is driven by its core values.

      Cons

The decreasing size of company was not resolved and more people continued to leave. The lack of a dedicated sales team seems to be hurting the ability to win new business.

I have been working at Integware

      Pros

In reviewing the comments from previous posters, I think it's important to note that the senior management issues that occurred in 2010 and part of 2011 have been completely addressed from my perspective. The management team has been replaced with more experienced and principled persons from the PLM industry. Great vision and success in helping medical device companies and building innovative technologies. Travel...

      I worked at Integware

      Pros

Outstanding talent in the consulting team brought a great market opportunity to Integware. The PLM market is still very strong in med device, and many of those consultants will go on to do great things in the private sector or with other consulting companies.

      Cons

Unfortunately, the poor execution by the management team spoiled Integware's reputation in the market and broke key business alliances with R&D partners.

      Advice to Management

New leadership needed at the top - strong business planning skills, diplomacy and understanding of the value proposition of the business in the market required.

I have been working at Integware

      Pros

Smart employees and strong vision for where Integware needs to be as part of its business transformation. A focus on the most relevant needs for life science manufacturers.

      Cons

Not enough resources for all of the opportunities being pursued. Employees need to recalibrate their expectations on the level of business travel needed as part of the new company focus.

      Advice to Management

Keep pushing. New company direction and focus takes time. Continue to instill a sense of urgency. You are on the right track. Continue to enpower employees to make decisions.
