I have been working at InterDent full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Work with some great people!

    Cons

Pay Increase is very rare!! Hardly get bonuses even if you work your tail off to make the company meet goals because we were short a few hours since you have to start late or leave early because no patients. So we get punished with no bonus. So if if non of what I said would bother you then this place would be a good start to get your foot in the door but not a forever home at all!

    Advice to Management

Take care of your staff if you want them to stay!

  5. "This company needs a reality check"

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

You get 40 hours a week

    Cons

This company does not care about their staff. The company christmas parties are a joke. They tell you that you'll get bonuses but I have never seen one. You have to use pto if you're going to take a day off outside your normal schedule. It's not an option. Constantly changing their policies and rules. Work you like dogs.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. You should have sick pay separate from PTO. Not make your employees take pto if they dont want to. Where are the bonuses?

    Pros

    Cons

The pay does not compensate for the stress you work under. Management only cares about producing more income for the share holders and not taking care of their employees

    Advice to Management

Keeping quality employees should be first priority and the money will come

I have been working at InterDent full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay was great. Really that’s all.

    Cons

Benefits are a joke, turnover is insane. Employees walk out left and right. We constantly redo treatment for patients because they hire inexperienced dentists. Overwork staff with terrible scheduling practices. Patients are always upset because of corporate red tape nonsense. (Adjusting a small balance can take several months) nobody really seems to know what they’re doing, everyone just kinda does things to get through the day.
    Super disorganized and no consistency.

    Advice to Management

Treat your team members like people, streamline systems and listen to your people. I get numbers are important, but not as much as the people working to produce them

    Pros

Upper management does not fire you if you do not produce compared to other corporate dental practices

    Cons

Having to see many patients with not much time to properly educate

    Advice to Management

Offer better incentives to boost office morale and give more positive feedback
