Senior management engages in business that they do not understand or care to take advice on. Anyone who brings in knowledge that compete with senior management is seen as a threat.
Your professional profile, in my experience, will take a hit from including this firm on your resume.
The office is extremely young - and management seems intent on "keeping themselves young" as well. They have the trappings of a "fun modern" workplace with the booze-soaked quarterly parties and pool table. The reality is darker. Management refuses to delegate, and then scapegoats whoever they like least. I watched this happen to three different young employees - and then me. Being one of their favorites might be worse.
