So much to say and nowhere to express it

Pros

In certain departments you aren't micro managed - a relief from some of the management who will criticise you for breathing incorrectly. Some departments offer flexibility without feeling like you are asking for a miracle (popping to the doctors, emergency dentist - normal life stuff)

Cons

Barely any benefits - no cycle to work scheme, poor pension, no private health care discount. No bonus. No annual pay rises unless you beg. No canteen for such a big company. Company split into various departments which leave some under old school management and living in the stone age - you can't wear certain coloured clothing, you can't dye your hair this colour, you can't listen to music or socialise (bums glued to seats, being socialble and laughing is loss of profits). No set development process in place - if your face fits great! If not, cut your losses early. Poor retention of staff - don't value you (you feel your easily replaced and anyone can do your job), some don't even ask why you want to move/leave! Training in some departments is extremely poor. Work on an account for a week or 2 and be expected to know everything about the client and dated linney built systems. Need a better training process in place and much more management support!! Management in general.

Toxic Culture

Pros

Linney has amazing and big brand clients.

Cons

Linney has a highly toxic culture where nobody will take ownership of their roles. The small town, family style of management means that any new employees that aren’t part of the small town aren’t heard when issues are raised. Linney has a lot of unqualified and inexperienced people in vital positions which results in a very stressful work environment where every project is late, chaotic and below client expectations. It is impossible to manage the accounts properly when the teams internally are working against each other. The Mansfield based team is also rude and degrading towards foreigners and people whose native language is not English. I would highly recommend anybody that is passionate about their job to stay as far away as you can from Linney, the culture will eat you up and kill any ambition in you.

House of horror

Pros

World-class facility for aspiring predators and despots

Cons

Persistent culture of bullying, harassment and discrimination. An abominable collection of mysogenistic, myopic, totalitarian horrors.
