I have been working at LiveIntent full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

LiveIntent is a good company to work for — and I am an industry veteran. Coworkers are very bright. Management is kind, and their ethos filters down to the ‘trenches’ so to speak. This is not generally an environment where people try to isolate knowledge — they share it for the betterment of everyone and the company. Flat structure. Employees are expected to treat each other as equals regardless of seniority. If you...

    Cons

Not entirely a con, but you must be a self-starter with an unstoppable initiative. There is no hand-holding here. The learning curve is steep but there are resources to help you along the way. As with any employer, not everything is perfect — you will not find a yellow brick road.

    I worked at LiveIntent full-time

    Pros

old management was great, and somehow the crappy upper-upper management outlived them; the platform is pretty unique

    Cons

founding execs are terrible, they force people out with lies and deceit aimed to make themselves look good and leave others with tainted reputations

    Advice to Management

step aside and hire good people while maintaining the ones that used to have the company on track to getting sold; also, it's REALLY bad practice to ask people to give more feedback by asking them to email directly and providing personal email information on glassdoor. this is supposed to be anonymous and it appears, outwardly, that LiveIntent is trying to strip that anonymity by asking for more feedback outside this...

    Pros

Good product with a future in the identity business.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Hire more women on the executive board. It will bring a fresh perspective.

I have been working at LiveIntent full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You get to work with some interesting technology You meet several talented albeit underpaid/under-appreciated people Sparse pseudo-healthy CEO-approved snacks delivered daily

    Cons

Firing 10 engineerings and not replacing them for over a year A culture that actively rewards those that politic better than others, regardless of the quality of work they contribute. The executive team is composed of friends of the CEO and the result is an aimless and fearful company. Low work-life balance. If your manager has ideas on a weekend expect emails and texts and also be expected to reply them.

    Advice to Management

Pivoting/expanding business models isn't going to save this company. Nobody believes these overly positive shill Glassdoor reviews either.

I worked at LiveIntent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are a lot of really talented, driven, smart people that are fun to work with and keep the company running. HR has significantly improved the hiring and mid year review processes and they host a lot of fun events. There are daily healthy snacks, beer and wine on tap, and a cool office space that is in a great location.

    Cons

Don't get me wrong, perks are great. But when it comes down to it, the perks simply don't make up for extremely poor management, constant reorgs, lack of diversity, and favoritism. It seems as if leadership is making more of an effort to listen to their employees recently but there is very little action that comes as a result. It's gotten to the point where people don't even bother complaining because what's the point...

    Advice to Management

You lose a lot of talented people every year and have extremely high turnover rates because you fail to listen to your employees and fail to create clear career paths. People that are bad managers with multiple complaints against them should not get to keep their jobs just because they are friends with the CEOs.
