Pros
- Pays higher than most minimum wage retail jobs in NYC - 10% store discount - Manager is actually realistic and listens to the sales associates
Cons
- Business is super slow - Founder blames the sales associates for factors out of the sales associates' control for the business being bad and not because their products are so overpriced for tourists - Founder is lowkey xenophobic; turns away international customers for using cash to pay for products (claims to "not understand" why they can't "just use their credit cards" - Founder is also classist. Doesn't want to give out discounts because he wants his target customers to be rich. Upset that no one cares about overpriced maple syrup
