Pros

The direct team I worked with on a day-to-day (and a few other colleagues who I have remained friends with) were the only positives that helped me endure the experience at the company as long as I did.

Cons

Where to start... Processes: For as long as I worked at Looping, they advertised themselves as having a 'start-up' culture. However, how long can an agency really be allowed to brandish this tagline and hide behind it at any signs of trouble? Processes were either broken or non-existent, and rather than try to fix them, new ones were continually introduced to make workflows as convoluted and stressful as possible. Nepotism: There seemed to be a strong culture of hiring (and at times creating roles) for friends/family of senior management - even though we were forced to do training that stated this practice should never be adopted. Clearly, one size did not fit all here. Also, speaking of management, many of those in senior positions didn't seem to have any 'management' competencies whatsoever. While some were definitely talented in their respective area of expertise, most were incapable of actually interacting with others let alone managing teams. Worst of all, this trend carried through across multiple departments. Salary: It took numerous years of working at this company - in a role where I was forced to manage myself - to find out that I had been significantly underpaid in comparison to my other colleagues with similar role titles. In summary, I could write an essay about my negative experiences with this company. Hopefully the above will provide enough of a reason why it would not be a worthwhile experience working there.

- Remote/Hybrid Work - Beautiful office

Cons

Too many projects are running concurrently. So, excessive stress from time to time.
