Pros

Flexible Schedule, Casual wear , Coffee, Mall nearby

Cons

Commission only pay, Deceptive Management, Draw Salary, Customer Chargebacks that come out of your check, 24Hour customer service which sales reps are responsible for. it's simply a bus broker service where clients reach out to you and you have to send them a marked up quote based on what the actual bus company provides you. you split the MARK UP (70/30%) with the company. which of course the rep takes 30%, bus travels aren't exactly busy all year round so factor that into your take home.. A few things.... the markup on the sales are about $300 -$500. so let's do the high end which is $500, A group books a two day vacation trip and you were able to collect a $500 markup on top of the $1000 the bus company is asking for (very rare). Customer pays $1500 TOTAL, bus company gets $1000, you split $500 with Metropolitan Shuttle.. 70/30% ... your take on that will be $150. Bear in mind it took you about 3-4 days to close this deal..to include calling A LOT of bus companies the client is calling and negotiating the "BEST DEAL".. so repeat that about 15 times to see any money. not enough time in the day for that. There are too many reps and quality of the leads are not good. you will have to send about 15-20 quotes to get any response from clients, remember sending a quote involves calling all the bus companies in different cities across USA to get their price to which you will add a markup. When clients do see a good price from you they will call back to book the trip and when this happens you will collect the funds from client only to find out the only bus company that gave you a really low quote has sold out so you have to go with a more expensive bus company to which you the rep will eat the loss.(comes out of your future check in installments). If you do book a trip and the bus breaks down at 1am, expect a call from the Admin to blame you and also to ask you to find a bus. bear in mind, there are no companies open at the time. Metropolitan Shuttle will offer generous refunds to unhappy customers on your dime. The system at this company truly exploits the hardworking American and also ruins relationships with bus companies. the company tells you to nickle and dime these bus companies to do the job for less so they can take a bigger portion of the markup, the bus companies have more cost in doing business; paying drivers, insurance, maintenance, vehicle payments, gas etc With the really high hypothetical numbers above, you be the judge. it's commission only it will be an okay place to work if the pay structure changes for reps. This is an honest review.

Pros

**Uncapped earning potential**. You can make as much money as want. Based solely on YOUR work ethic/ performance and attitude towards making money!! I haven't worked anywhere else that could promise me a direct ratio of effort to money except for here. This job is LITERARY what you make of it.

Cons

Slow learning curve if your not already familiar with the transportation industry. (If you're a fast learner then no problem)
