HORRIBLE PLACE

Pros

There are no pros to this place

Cons

The list is long. The CFO is a micro-manager. He stifles ANY and ALL new in creative ideas. He want's you to park where he can "see your car" - it's his way of being in control in his mind. Him and the owner keep bringing the place down. His idea of profits are when numerous employees quit or get fired and then they have more money, he tells everyone its "production" He's not real smart. He is also infamous (along with the owner) to approve of "corporate dinners, that USUALLY exceed over $1200.00. Yet when I asked for a video camera to promote the company on YouTube and other social media outlets, I was told to "keep it to $500 - you can't buy a decent video camera for that). So I guess dinner is more important than company promotion. Again, not real smart AND... just plain selfish. The owner has used vulgar language in front of the customer service employees and customers and the same time. As a "christian" company... they aren't.

Pros

This is the best job I've ever had! I love the people, the customers, and I appreciate the time they take to listen to ideas and opinions. I have told friends to apply multiple times and I wouldn't stop :)

Cons

I don't dislike anything about Micro 100

Double standards and shift inequality

Pros

Amazing coworkers. Some management really strives to help employees. Family environment. Unpaid time off is (mostly) looked at by need after vacation and personal time is exhausted, although you usually have to go over shift supervisor to make it happen.

Cons

Employees encouraged to not talk or interact with one another. Only day shift scrutinized on this specific point. Management frequently stands around, at length, chatting and laughing, despite what's asked of employees. Most supervisors are only "yes men" for upper management, don't have any ability, or desire, it seems, to stick up for their staff. The dollar means more than the person or their work ethic. Upper management only sees Monday - Thursday day shift, so no other shift is treated to the same standard. Day shift talks to someone for a moment and is busted, weekend shift can wander aimlessly, talk, look at phones, sit around with no word in opposition. Unqualified promoted before tenured experienced employees.
