Pros

Unfortunately, I am unable to find any positive aspects of this organization.

Cons

Moburst has a toxic culture. There is a lack of structure, diversity, opportunities for growth, and effective leadership. The company does not treat its employees with respect, acknowledge their hard work or offer fair compensation. Salaries are significantly below industry standards. The CEO displays poor leadership skills, and the management team is ineffective. Additionally, some managers have a tendency to speak poorly of their employees and create a hostile work environment. Additionally, no employee engagement activities or benefits make it difficult to find fulfillment in the job.

Hi there, this is Gilad. It was important for me to personally respond to you, as I'm sorry to read that this is how you feel and would like to address these points brought up: * There is a very defined structure (if you're still working here you can take a look at our Org chart) yet, as we grow, the structure is changing and I think it makes sense that with more employees and services added - things will keep on changing. Each year we re-evaluate the structure with the management team to make sure we provide each team the opportunity to shine and grow professionally. * Diversity - as of today we have employees based in 8 different countries, and 11 different states in the US. Our European team alone has employees from 6 different countries. The age range starts from the early 20s and ends in the 50s. In our Israeli team, we have employees who are religious and employees who are not, we also have many new immigrants, and Israelis whose families have been here since the day that Israel was established. * Growth - From the top of my head without counting I have 8 team members in mind that have started here a year+ ago and have grown into managerial roles, leading teams and training the next generation. Just a month ago we've checked the average employee seniority at Moburst - it is 2 years which is forever in agency time where we grow by more than 50% year or year on average, which shows that people are staying at Moburst for a reason. * Leadership - I feel like there isn't any lack of leadership in the company, but it doesn't mean we don't make mistakes. I know I'm making hundreds of decisions every day, and some of them are wrong for sure. I do feel like the management team (myself included) is trying to investigate many aspects of the company each quarter and learn from the positive and negative experiences with employees, clients, and vendors so we would be able to continue on improving as an organization. I feel like taking responsibility and admitting failures and not just celebrating success is a huge part of it and it creates the right culture where it's okay to make mistakes as long as you learned from them. * Compensation - We open the salary for discussion around the yearly evaluations/ closing a year at the company. I am present in most of the discussions and truly believe that our team should be compensated according to seniority and growth. I would love to keep discussing it and learn from your case, you are more than welcome to reach out to me. If you feel more comfortable sending an anonymous email this is an option as well. I wish you all the best. Gilad

Pros

I wish I could tell you one good thing about this organization but I can’t.

Cons

Moburst is absolutely toxic. There is no internal structure, diversity, growth, or leadership. They do not value their employees, recognize hard work, or compensate fairly. The CEO has a terrible personality and most of leadership do not know how to manage teams.

We are sorry to read that this is how you feel and would like to address these points brought up: - There is a very defined structure but as we grow, the structure is changing just like it would be in any other fast-growing company. - Regarding diversity, as of today we have employees based in 16 different countries. Many different ethnicities and age groups, our youngest employee is in his earliest 20s and the eldest is in his 50s. - Regarding growth, you are more than welcome to check the growth track of our employees on our website or on our employees’ LinkedIn. We have a lot of employees who were promoted to managerial roles, and some of them are even with us now for 5-7 years. - When discussing leadership, our management is investing a lot of time and effort to lead the industry and create internal leaders within our employees. A great example of that is the thought leadership activity we've made to encourage our employees to share their knowledge, get them to speak in international conferences, and share their insights in front of the top publications of their field. - Employee evaluation - we actually do evaluations twice a year and are more than happy to discuss terms, salary, benefits, etc. at the end of each year. We would love to keep discussing it and learn from your case as we believe in constant learning. We really do wish you all the best and our door is always open for feedback.

Pros

-Remote, for those who enjoy WFH -Some employees are really great to work with -Cool clients, although that has dropped significantly recently with the changes on the market

Cons

-Management is more busy pulling others down to protect their own positions than actually doing their jobs and helping employees get the tools they need to truly succeed -CEO acts mainly on his own feelings, might feel impulsive at times and there is a clear lack of communication between senior and upper management -Endless work hours, you can easily find yourself working 12 hour days without extra compensation
