I worked at My Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Job itself is not bad, upper management is somewhat knowledgeable. Certain managers are amazing and create great culture, but they leave due to the pay being a joke.

    Cons

Pay is so bad that the quality of employees is bad, you get what you pay for. So many calls that waste time that could be used elsewhere

    Advice to Management

Pay more and you get better quality

I worked at My Wireless (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pro is great colleagues.

    Cons

    - Very apparent nepotism
    - Upper management is shady and two-faced
    - Treats their workers like a number
    - Low pay for all the responsibilities they give you
    - "Promote" employees without giving them a pay raise
    - Empty promises of a pay raise and promotion
    - Micromanage and high turnover rate
    - Find every method to save company's money so they keep it for upper management
    - Always last minute changes causing delays which management will blame you for

    Advice to Management

Stop underpaying your staff. You have the budget to open new stores, but none to help the understaffed stores. Don't expect your employees to finish a project within a week if it should take a month realistically. If you give a short notice and keep changing plans last minute, don't expect a successful project.

I have been working at My Wireless full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Senior leadership are always available when guidance is needed
-amazing team environment- all TM's come together to help each other out
-great earning potential if you're smart about coaching/training your team on company objectives
-they will hold you accountable for mistakes, but will also coach you so that it doesn't happen again

    Cons

    - people like to complain about things.. but not to the right people. You can hold a grudge and complain to your peers all you like, but, if you don't raise you concerns to leadership, how can things improve?

    Advice to Management

Keep eyes and ears open, understand what's going on and address issues.

    Pros

    Great Culture
    Inspiring Leadership
    Growth Opportunity
    Commission sales environment
    Fast paced

    Cons

One of the best places I've ever worked. Due to the company being privately owned some of the processes need streamlining.

    Advice to Management

Some of the processes need streamlining.

I have been working at My Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Pay is good
    -Commission is fair
-Sales team are friendly (excluding managers and above)

    Cons

-Scheduling is done last minute and changed at the LAST minute (they make too much "updates")
-Management will "listen" but won't do anything about your issues (especially when it involves their "favorite" they will do anything to not reprimand these team members"
-They don't protect the culture in the stores and let their "best-selling" employees step all over the other employees
-They call instead of email or text back because they don't keep their word
    -No training process
    -Overpromising
    -Miscommunications

    Advice to Management

Keep your word. You are upper management for a reason stop being shady and pretending to be innocent when we call HR. And they tell us stuff like "Oh if you came to ME we would have fixed it." No, you wouldn't. We have been telling you all for years what the issues were but get off your high horse and stop thinking you are always correct and that you know everything. You say you listen to your employees but you only listen to what you wanna hear and not take their issues into consideration. You "listen" for what? To have a snotty comeback and it's always not documented in email or text so you can say the conversation happened a totally different way. Actually LISTEN and stop protecting your favorites. You guys turn a blind eye when they do something wrong and you think our culture is great cause you only listen to what your favorites say. They slander people left and right behind their backs and act nice to your face. Not people I look up to.....

I worked at My Wireless full-time

    Pros

Really can't think of a single thing

    Cons

Shady. Pretends to be first rate but is way below third rate. Upper management is sketchy and they threaten your job constantly.

    Advice to Management

Stop constantly changing things. Less conference calls. Be consistent.

Employees are seen as "cost" not people
    No holiday pay
    No growth
    No training

    Negative Outlook

I worked at My Wireless full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I generally liked my coworkers, and the feeling of being able to genuinely help customers with their issues was great
Moving up the chain was quick and easy (I got a promotion to store manager within 2 weeks of working at my store), but was usually a function of how good one was at misleading potential and current customers.

    Cons

Management was completely focused on sales, even at the expense of giving the customer honest expectations, which led to a lot of below the table policies and dealings.

    Advice to Management

Hire better people, and not Joe Shmoe off the street.
