      Poor management of fantastic staff

      Pros

      The non-management staff are an extremely friendly and hard working group of people. The facilities are very up to date and modern, located near to the centre of Manchester.

      Cons

      The main problem at Nanoco is the inexperienced and unprofessional way of working from all levels of management. Employees’ hard work and commitment is under-appreciated and over looked by the management team. The management treats their staff with minimal respect and use negative feedback to try to motivate staff. Nanoco is not a company for people looking to progress their career.

      Pros

      Location of the main facility is fantastic with easy access to Manchester and majority of workforce are good.

      Cons

      Arrogant CEO, senior managers and staff who think they're more important than they are. Other site at Runcorn is very cut off. Managers play staff off against each other. A very disjointed atmosphere of communication.

      Pros

      Great facilities in a convenient location. Most of the actual staff are fantastic to work with on a daily basis.

      Cons

      The whole management team are inept and unethical. This is not a company to work for if you are looking to progress in a career, especially if you are female. The managers(!) are not open to novel or innovative ideas, making the job frustrating and stressful Staff are under appreciated and treated with disdain.
