Pros

The good people (non-directors), unlimited burnt coffee, literal glassdoors (that people often walk into), standing desks.

Cons

The pay is insulting, the micromanaging is real, certain directors are as crass and crabby as they come, the energy is toxic, and the ego among management is nauseating. Seriously, in "the 'Couve" this is happening. They perform flash firings which keep people on edge and take themselves WAY too seriously.

Run As Fast As You Can

Pros

The offices are nice, especially if you like bean bags, and open seating. Well-meaning employees.

Cons

The CEO would try to do every single task if he had the skills to do so. This arrogance results in 100 people walking around with little to do as if it were high school. The communication from Senior Level to the employees is horrific. The company is a sham and while attempts are made, putting lipstick on a pig is unsuccessful. The "culture" is contrived and forced. The inability to work remotely continues to be an issue. There is zero trust between management and the workers. Micro-management is real. I would avoid at all costs. If you do plan to interview, be sure to schedule some time with the CEO. Ask real questions and watch his blood boil.

HORRIBLE company

Pros

-the core values would be a pro, if they followed them. -hipster office with hammocks, but dont be fooled this is not a fun place to work -good coffee

Cons

-Terrible leadership from senior management, they are disconnected from their employees despite the same consistent feedback. -They will pay you the bare minimum salary they can with no bonus structure- they literally give you a bonus when they feel like it - maybe twice a year -They consistently roll out these fancy new business plans with big words, claiming it will address the toxicity or terrible business practices when they only make things worse and confuse people even more -When we ask the hard questions in meetings they stumble and trip over words for 5 minutes and they never actually answer your question- its like watching politicians lie -They have no real communication between employees and leadership, they dont trust or value their employees at all. -The CEO, Brian, is one of the worst people I have ever worked with. He will scream at his employees in an open office setting dropping F- bombs and completely loses control of his temper when his employees give him feedback or ask hard questions. -The toxicity of this company starts with unequipped leaders and trickles all the way down the chain of employees who can not do anything about it because management won't listen. -They recently did a re-org and fired off the sales team out of nowhere and never explained to the company why they did that or what they are doing now. So everyone walks around on egg shells -The brand managers are treated terribly and they are the only department that gets resources/attention -the company has NO structure at all and it will collapse sooner rather than later -they have no outside board of directors to keep them in check and call them on all the crap they are pulling on their employees -their business model sucks. It over-charges brands SO much for the services they provide, its a sleazy way to make money (sell their stuff on amazon) -They only pretend to care about employee feedback- they collect it then throw it away. The re-org screwed every one of their best people over and showed their employees how little they mean to the company. -bad culture, extremely clique-y like high school but worse. Hopefully you can sit at the cool kid table or else you’ll sit alone, and most people do.
