I have been working at NotifyMD (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, some very hard working managers as well. Clear path and back bone of director that everyone is willing to follow.

    Cons

Lacks communication ironically, still figuring out said process, the overall product is poor. It is becoming more and more like Stericycle

    Advice to Management

Focus on problems at the macro level and then get the right people in the roles. There are too many people bad at their job and too many people in general

    Cons

if you have any medical problems might as well forget it they could care less about illnesses

    Advice to Management

why do you atke in to consideration that everybody has a bad day or maybe the medication moght not be right for them and are having a hard time adjusting to it. the 7 step rule if silly for absenteeism and tardiness , yes i moght have been tardy but i did work the shift till the end also consider people if they fill in a lot of the open time available because it was b/s why was leet go them did even get a letter if termination.

    Pros

There was some flexibility in scheduling. The customers were interesting and the clients were generally friendly. There was always a steady flow of calls.

    Cons

Management doesn't always listen regarding scheduling. You have to work almost every holiday. You do have be be on call about 1 day a week. Accuracy it extremely important.

    Advice to Management

Part time employees require a bit more flexibility. Listen to them when scheduling needs are expressed. Steady calls are the norm but there are times where there is much lag between calls, there are not really job aids to study or material to review, so allowing some non work related activity between calls should be allowed. A book, crossword, something to keep the agents minds stimulated and going instead of looking at a blank screen

I worked at NotifyMD (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really great projects to work on. Langan works with some of the top architects and developers in the world. - The people are mostly top talent. Slackers get cut and the best rise. You are actually acknowledged for your accomplishments and work. - Most organized company I ever worked for without being too corporate.

    Cons

Pay could be better for those in top tier cities, such as New York or San Fran, however understand that it is nature of the construction industry itself. Unfortunately can't get banker salaries due to nature of the projects and fees, thus making it hard to achieve a 'comfortable' lifestyle in these markets.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I worked at NotifyMD part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No call is ever the same. You are always learning interesting things. There is always support on the floor.

    Cons

Management doesn't always listen to your scheduling needs. Business is 24/7, 365 so you work most holidays. Even though each call is different it can be pretty repetitive. Accuracy is extremely important therefore mistakes are critical and taken seriously.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the scheduling needs of your employees when possible.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at NotifyMD (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The pro sold by management - "At least you're not unemployed", Umberto's next door makes a good buffalo pizza.

    Cons

Passive aggressive and snarky management, no management accountability, to them - everything is at fault of their agents. Holiday scheduling is done terribly with the veil of being fair, if you value life events or the occasional holiday off with no strings, this is not the place for you. Shows little concern for the benefit of their entry level and customer service representatives, using them as scapegoats for bad call center stats and the plethora of other issues which stem from poor management. Nepotistic practices. No inhouse Human Resources.

    Advice to Management

Learn and care about people, provide a work environment not driven by negativity and duplicity. Retire current management system. Do not allow management to blame those below them, hold them accountable for their own duties. Stop using an automated schedule generator and run fixed shifts. Stop viewing and treating employees as they are taking away money from the company and start seeing what they give.
