    Pros

The pay is very well and the call center atmosphere is pretty good because everyone usually gets along. The office culture is not too conservative.

    Cons

There is no room for advancement from the call center. There are too many applicants for one position. Management often side with customers and violate policy so makes it very inconsistent.

    Advice to Management

Management should look at the skills of the employees and work to get them in different positions when qualify. Also provide training and treat all employees as equals

Current Employee - Management in Philadelphia, PA

    Pros

Depends on interest of individual. Individual may find in this economy that a focus on ethics is a refreshing change, especially in light of all the recent news items of interests. Also, new college graduates may find working for the government as a more stable source of income.

    Cons

Government employee, not profit driven. Pension plan is not as great as it was for the older employees. However, the benefits after a number of years still supersede some of the other employers. Public service is generally a thankless job especially when evaluating the ethical violations of individuals.

    Advice to Management

    Use employee suggestions
