- Work-life balance - Exposure to many risk stripes - Good vacation and sick leave - Relaxed dress code - Indexed DB Pension

Cons

- Incredibly difficult to get promoted, may take 5+ years for most - Managers play favorites who will climb 2-3 positions in as many years - Extremely slow-moving bureaucracy - Health/Dental is weaker compared to private sector

Regular people in the office are competent and well meaning.

Cons

The worst people have the most senior positions. Constant chaos in the senior ranks. Cramped and unhygenic working conditions. Superintendent is incompetent.
