Pros

Not many as they treated me, a female employee, like one of the guys in the locker room.

Cons

Lack of respect to female employees, poor communication from management on my performance. Sudden termination vs. reasoning and a plan. Overall a very immature company run by little boys.

Pros

Lots of expertise and deep knowledge when it comes to paid advertising and rev ops. Specialists in these areas are extremely well versed. SEO, no so much. Loved the ability to work from home whenever I wanted to .

Cons

Not sure where to start. This company has such a toxic culture that revolves around the owners 'favorites' and alcohol. Everyone is so overworked and miserable, when people actually do come into the office all anyone wanted to do is have drinking lunches and happy hour. This led to one holiday party where a younger female ended up with alcohol poisoning. The owner was pretty much completely phased out when I decided to leave and had no idea what was going on, yet will promote folks who have been around the longest for no other reason but to keep them around even when they aren't qualified to their jobs. Overall, just so much negativity, drinking, and drama that I wish my path never crossed with this place. The employees who have been around the longest are bullies and entitled, not putting in the work like everyone else and have the attitude that they are untouchable simply because they haven't moved on in their careers.

Obility Response

Thank you for taking the time to review Obility on glassdoor. We take feedback from team members and former team members seriously. We appreciate that you recognized our expertise in paid advertising and rev ops and our flexible work environment. While we feel that sharing drinks at work social occasions can foster a positive company culture, we take seriously concerns of over consumption and will continue to encourage team members to enjoy alcohol responsibly at company events. We are proud that our team member retention is strong and that we have a veteran team that has chosen to stay at Obility for number of years. We are also excited to have grown the team by more than 30% in the last year and to have promoted 5 new supervisors in the last year. I’m sorry that you left with a negative impression of Obility and we wish you our best in our career.

Pros

The level of digital marketing expertise is exceptional. There is a commitment to keeping absolutely current on all aspects of B2B digital marketing. Obility is a good place to grow your skillset, even if that skillset is a good one. Concern for client success is given high priority. Competitive compensation.

Cons

There were times when the workload was intense enough to make it difficult to think I was doing as well as possible for all my assigned clients. High-pressure, in which not everyone will thrive.
