    Pros

The other employees are very nice people who really cared.

    Cons

NO BENEFITS - NONE. Only their favorites got promoted, hard work didn't matter. Whole sections of employees were treated badly.

    Advice to Management

Shut the place down. Totally run on politics and Bias. Waste of taxpayers money. They hardly have any new jobs.

    Pros

The starting pay at the agency is high for the Marion County area. So if you get hired on, DON'T TRUST A SOUL. Your Friends or Management will be the first to STAB YOU IN THE BACK. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS AGENCY.

    Cons

There’s a lot of favoritism in this agency. If you’re not kissing butt you’ll be treated like crap and over looked. Directors, Assistant Directors and Supervisors need to treat everyone fairly and the same but they don’t. When you have a problem and you’re not in the so called in crowd your complaint doesn’t go any further and they label you as a trouble maker. The state needs to stop funding this agency (CLM-WWDA) and get another privately run agency to take it over. They mismanage state funds on a regular bases. Each and every year ALL employees have to worry about being laid off. If your not in the in crowd then you’re the first to go.

    Advice to Management

Improve your Managerial Skills and there are always two sides to every story.

    Pros

Ability to work with people from all walks of life, taught me to prioritize, be detailed oriented and understand federal funding

    Cons

no growth potential, limited ability to implement faster and more efficient processes. Too much bureaucracy and wasteful paperwork involved in daily activities

    Advice to Management

Listen to front line workers to filter clients better and provide services to those who would be committed to the program. Ability to take decision to drop people when fair attempts have been made and no positive response and involvement is received from the client.
