Pros
You are the only one responsible for yourself, you don't have a micro manager here, you are not stuck working a single territory, small team, ability to get creative, friendly atmosphere, management that really cares about you as a person.
Cons
Not a lot of training when you start, a bit of a sink or swim philosophy, if you need someone to tell you what to do or how to be professional and on task you will not do well here.

Pros
Outsource Technical is a boutique IT staffing firm, much different than the larger non-relationship based firms in town that I’ve worked for. I have loved every minute of being a part of a smaller company where I’m more valued. The management team along with the highly skilled recruiters and account managers strive to make a perfect fit with each placement made, which is refreshing in the IT industry. This company strongly relies on referrals /relationship building and is always booked with repeat business!
Cons
This company really looks for Hunters, and not “Account Managers” when it comes to sales. So if you’re not a hunter/BD person, you probably wouldn’t be a fit for the company. As with all staffing firms, large or small, you have to find your own work/life balance. Not a lot of micro-management and more of a hands-off approach, so you need to be incredibly driven if you’re going to make it here.

Pros
Small company - You are able to voice your opinions and will be heard. Any ideas are good ideas. Management - You work directly with the Owner and Director of the branch. They will coach you, give you all the necessary tools to help you succeed and also be there to keep you motivated when things are tough. Support - As a salesman I was privileged to work with very dedicated recruiters. They are the basis for success in any staffing firm. Fun - It can't always be business and they encourage us to go out as a team and really get to know each other.
Cons
No one said sales is easy. The only Con is that you must keep yourself motivated and educated on current trends that are constantly changing in the IT space. OST gives you the tools and knowledge you need to apply to your everyday sales approach. Not really sure that is even a con.

Pros
Small company that's very family oriented, some amazing people (and not so amazing people), pay sales very well, other employees pretty good as well. Fun atmosphere.
Cons
Not a lot of the employees care for the VP. A lot of drama. Absolutely no structure and if you try to correct things, its acknowledged but things never change.

Thank you for the review. We are working hard to try to improve our processes and learn from what we have done previously. It is our hope and plan to enact only positive change within the company going forward, and to truly engage with our team who we work very hard to value.

Pros
I get to work with great people! Small company where you get to make a difference and be recognized for what you do Good Pay Run your own desk - very little micro-management Fun/Relaxed work environment
Cons
Work/Life balance... There are long hours, but that's the staffing biz and you'll get that at any staffing firm in town!
