Pros

Flexible bankers hours. Occasional contest winnings. thats about it

Cons

Senior Management- with exception of 1 or 2 did I have respect for. Most uppper management falls into the snobby, clicky, borderline un-ethical,& out of touch with field mentality. There are like I said 1 or 2 senior managers worthy of mentor status who tried to make a difference but they are outnumbered. Sales people have very little advancement and are not compensated enough for the demanding mondane job they do each day. In fact they are tossed out the door and replaced quite often if high expectations are not met. Recruiting unfortunaltey has a full time job refilling same positions through revolving door. PFP became a recruiting company not a sales compnay always looking for "someone better." Maybe it was not the sales people?

Pros

-Solid base salary/commission structure -Decent benefits -No door-to-door/cold-calling

Cons

-Travel and a lot of it. Was informed that I'd be working only locally, and was forced to travel up to 2 hours to get to where I needed to be up to 3 times every week. Put over 1000 miles on my car in less than 1 month. -Company is COMPLETELY disorganized. Schedules changed mid-week with no warning or even so much as a phone call. Management couldn't correctly inform reps where they were supposed to be or what they were supposed to be doing consistently nor stay in contact properly with the credit union that you work in. -Impossible to get just about anyone on the phone when clarifications are needed.

Pros

I enjoyed working closely with my team in my region. My regional manager was awesome and i wish i could bring this individual with my next career.

Cons

I have wanted to post something on glassdoor since I separated from this company for a while now and looking at the companies posts, I think this is the great time to do it. The training the individual speaks of is the Pat, the Accident Product, Disability and then training to take debit cards are the only training this company offers and requires their agents go through. Outside of that, the company offers Leadership Training. That training you have to prove yourself and not everyone goes in that one and there has to have a need for that. I personally have gone through all four of the trainings above and wanted to make note of those trainings. Pat is done at the corporate office and in my class, we had over 10 agents. It was said that the class average is 4-6 agents per month. The content and materials where fine. The Accident Product and Disability are trainings that you do online after you do the Pat training and I enjoyed those and was easily completed. The debit thing was done by an individual who did the training in our region. All these three trainings, they were completed within 3 months and done by three different trainers. I left this company because of the Pat training and what I experienced within my first couple of months of my employment. With my huge class and another right behind it, raised red flags for me and tells me that a company this small has very high turnovers. Lets think about it! The company wants big training classes in the company office. Wake up PFP! Maybe your high turnovers are because of what happens in an agent’s career within the first 6 months. Now back to those positive posts on glassdoor and by reading through them, you know which ones they are. The four or five starred ones. Think about who could be putting those up there to boost the companies ratings.
