    Negative Outlook

I worked at PROTON Edar full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good friendships built throughout company. People are more likely to assist if you show a humble attitude and respect all levels regardless of rank. Bosses were open to questions and were very friendly, which made the environment a joy to work in.

    Cons

Quite silo and very slow-paced, as there is no urgency. Politics is also very clear with new management in the recent years.

    Advice to Management

Your staff are the most loyal. Please appreciate them.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at PROTON Edar full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-competitive starting salary -company car provided for functional positions -decent allowances -No set guidelines, meaning there is a possibility for staffs to create something new and influence management for implementation

    Cons

-Very poor inter-departmental communication (silo mentality) -Uncompetitive annual salary raises (even for performing staffs) -Deadwood in the company that continue to hold important positions despite decreasing relevance -Management loves to blame HOD/ Branch heads/Execs for any fault that may have been triggered by themselves -Slow process by finance division to reimburse claims and allowances (up to 4... months!!) -Frequent mistakes by marketing team in adverts/campaigns published due to poor communication between project team members and downliners who knows the actual situation -Appraisals done by superior without consultation/explanation to appraisee, often resulting in dissatisfaction and discontent among employees -Very difficult to gain promotion due to deadwood holding important roles and frequent changes in management and high turnover makes it impossible to track previous performance anymore.
