Pros

The travel perks are great, especially when you stay with the company for a long time. That's been a huge incentive for me. When I interviewed with other applicants they felt the same way. More companies should offer these types of incentives.

Cons

Staying proactive at any job can be hard, especially when you have a family. This can be difficult, but as long as you are willing to work then, they can work with you.

Pros

Working at Pace Promotions has been awesome! I've learned so much about direct marketing and customer service. The management team is supportive and positive. There are so many team nights and we have so much fun! I've learned so much about my coworkers and we all work together to reach our goals.

Cons

It's a lot of work but the opportunity is so worth it because I have the ability to control my own career and set my own goals. It's not a job for everybody, but if you have drive and motivation this is a great job for you.

Pros

There are other Pace Promotion companies that are at least honest with the people they hire.

Cons

It all started during the interview process that made me interested in Pace Promotions to start with. You are told that you will be making anywhere from $30,000 to $35,000 a year. Well anyways, once you accept the job you soon find out that your pay is based off of performance - which no one in the office ever seems to really be successful at - so minimum wage it is! LIE #1. You are also made to believe in the interview process that you do not work weekends. Again, once you accept the job, you soon find out you work 6/7 days of the week. LIE #2. Now, soon after you accepted your "salary" paying job at Pace, you learn that every single day, you will be driving back and forth between your house, the office, and wherever the Sam's Club location is (20min-1.5hrs away). Basically, the very little pay you do receive in 2 weeks, gets dumped back into your gas tank leaving you with nothing to support your families and/or pay your bills. Now, none of this would bother me if the management was honest with you from the very beginning. This is why you will see so many people quitting at the Independence location. Never once, does management think it is him that might be the problem. But that's beside the point. Getting into the people who work there. Well, after accepting your job at Pace Promotions in Independence, you will soon see that there are gossipy cliques within the company. Strike that. No, there is only one. You are encouraged to network with other people in the company but you'll learn very soon that everyone either tells you 1) the same scripted BS or 2) THEIR way of doing things....essentially never actually helping the person to grow. If you're a semi-real or nice person - cut your loses because you'll be taken advantage of to no end. I know I should have known better and done my research on the company before I accepted the job but I did not. Well, I made up for not doing the research prior to accepting the job and I am truly astonished for what I found. Not only did I find these bogus and false reviews about the company but I found out who our REAL clients are. The people writing these reviews are all FAKE. Not one of these people exist in the company. LIE #3. LIE #4. LIE #5. LIE #6. LIE #7. LIE #8. Okay now that we're caught up here. Now, you're told that the clients are "real" people who are trying to have a business of their own and launch their products. Well, you guessed it! LIE #9. Ouch, this is starting to hurt now. Our clients are actually people who work within our company. PYRAMID. PYRAMID. My mind just goes straight to PYRAMID. I can hardly contain myself right now from all the excitement. Anyways, I would have been totally fine with all of the above but I was constantly lied to throughout the process. There is a reason why this is my second time writing this review because the manager does not allow people to write on here if they are "former employees". It's sad how much BS is tossed around in this establishment on a daily basis. Do your research beforehand and realize, I am a real person who has actually worked for this company.
