Pros

It's a tight-knit crew of talented designers that have the power to create extraordinary work. Combined with Pixel Parlor's mission to work with clients seeking to make a positive impact in their communities & beyond, it's truly impressive what their small but mighty team can achieve. It's the perfect environment for creatives looking to learn new skills and grow professionally with real life hands-on experience. Pixel Parlor is committed to not only providing, but encouraging the team to lean into continuing education courses and is dedicated to making sure it's employees have a great work/life balance. Leadership is very transparent with business goals, individual expectations, and makes sure you feel in-the-loop and a part of growing the business.

Cons

Being part of a small team often means wearing many hats & juggling multiple responsibilities. If you're looking to work in a more corporate, larger company setting, PXP may not be for you.

Pros

Easy commute if you live close by.

Cons

From what I experienced and observed there, the boss a personality style that includes a lack of empathy and a tendency towards manipulative behavior. She has an extremely short temper, is very quick to accuse, and even calls her own children "a-holes." It was important to me to be a nice person, and I expect the same standard from anyone I work with, but being nice was obviously not a priority for her.
