    It's a stable company. No risk to be fired

    Cons

    No career enhancements. They hire managers from other companies.

    Good Life/work Balance. You are free ti work the right time.

    Salaries are low. Inducement aren't so attractive. pack of meritocracy

    I have been working at Poste Italiane full-time

    Pros

    - Very stable job almost impossible to be fired
    - Big numbers in everything ... huge number of colleagues... big budget to invest....

    Cons

    - in the hand of politics.....
    - impossible to make career only need sponsorship (again by politics)
    - the Greatest worldwide example of nepotism and bureaucracy!

    Advice to Management

    The only hope is in the spoil system I mean in a total management replacement all the Directors are not really well prepared...

    Pros

    Poste Italiane is a big company and well known brand so you can have access to many clients and contacts

    Cons

    Poor middle management with no accountability nor leadership
    Labour unions (sindacati) badly influence strategy, decisions, career growth
    Bureaucratic place with a lot of constraint.
    Forget career growth or meritocratic policies

    Change middle management

    Pros

    They are amazing, great benefits, great training, no problems. They are one of the most important company in Italy. They care about people who works for them.

    Cons

    You are often under pressure, because working at Poste italiane means working with hundreds of people, solving problems, hearing their complaints, every day, every second.

    Advice to Management

    The should try to find some high tech program to help employees to work better, because working in that environment with old PCs and programs is very hard

    Job stability, company solidity, punctuality of the salary, possibility to obtain advantageous loans, possibility to switch between different contract forms quite easily.

    Cons

    Bureaucracy, scarce possibility to grow according to one's skills and merits, lack of organization and planning, especially in human resources management, salary on average lower than similar companies.

    Improve the organization and planning, reduce the bureaucracy, lighten the procedures, valorize merits and skills, increase salaries
