hands -on learning, learn by doing
Cons
I can't really think of anything

Pros
NONE... These people are a complete joke.
Cons
If you want to stand at a tent and try to sign up people for Verizon cable and internet while working for a few chumps who think they are hot shot entrepreneurs then go for it. It is a multi level sales company that flashes high income potential in your face if you can scam a few others into working under you. The guy that interviewed me thought he was such a slick salesman yet had no self awareness to realize wearing a three-piece suit to a pointless direct to consumer sales job looks ridiculous. I would recommend pan handling under a bridge in Philadelphia before ever working for these idiots.

Work/Life Balance
May 23, 2018 - Marketing Associate in Garden City, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
A lot of the staff is pretty friendly if you make an effort to speak to them outside of work;
Cons
Have to "ask permission" to leave on time (or 20 min "late") "Being sick is a right" and taking sick days leads to suspicion/guilt trips No office culture - headphones aren't allowed, talking about non-work related things is frowned upon, hanging out with coworkers outside of work has to be secretive, no breaks allowed to take care of personal business, etc. Management will often promise things without knowing what is going on creating a lot of unnecessary/unhelpful work "just to show we are working". Hard to break through to management with suggestions to improve general work quality. If any improvements cost money they are unlikely to be approved. Work is either not done quickly enough or not done with enough quality. Will be spoken to nearly weekly with the problems rotating between the two extremes. No reviews/pay raises. Promised to happen yearly but when asked about it is never the right time to discuss it.

Consumer Source IT has lost their way
Jun 6, 2010 - Project Manager in Norcross, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good money - for now, but that's changing. If you're in IT, there really isn't anything to recommend about Consumer Source except the money - for now, but that's changing.
Cons
In IT, it is a wide open very crowded, very noisy area. They tore down all the offices and cubicles. Now they have developers 2 to a desk for pair programming. The desks are on wheels and you can expect to be rolled around somewhere at least once a month. For concentrating on your own work, it isn't possible in this environment. Six people in the space that used to be for one cubicle.

Outdated is an understatement
Feb 27, 2020 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I genuinely could not think of a single one
Cons
-start pay is low -no office culture, cannot talk to each other without getting in trouble -heavily micromanaged -No sick days or personal days. No system to track vacation days or submit them -wildly disorganized office-record keeping here is a joke -heavily outdated software that you’re expected to use to create quality work -Have to ask permission to leave on time -if you’re an admin assistant, asked to runs errands almost every other day but not compensated for your gas. -No real job “duties” were assigned. Never knew what to do because I didn’t have set responsibilities -management was rude and very condescending. You can’t make any mistakes without getting berated in front of your co-workers

Pros
The people are great and very friendly. Great pay... if you're starting your first job... but I've heard people haven't had a raise in years.
Cons
Bad management and they're very unorganized. Small company with not a lot of potential.

Wildly Disorganized, Unprofessional, & No Work Life Balance
Feb 27, 2019 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
friendly staff for the most part (worked with some really wonderful people I still keep in touch with, my department's head was especially wonderful) generous raises (if you actually get them) (also keep in mind salaries start low) great place to build your skills if you are just starting out (keep in mind however they are patient with your skill building because they higher people with low skill on purpose and start salaries accordingly). If you are just starting out and absolutely cannot find anything else, it's useful to be here a year.
Cons
WILDLY disorganized despite intense micromanagement. Everything is done last minute, even when it comes to things management has known are upcoming for months. Intense micromanagement. I wanted to say many, many times to upper management "Just let me do my job!" Projects either take way too long, are done poorly, or both. Quality control is almost non existent, because everyone is too overworked to spend time on it. Some departments are overworked in part because they have no technology to improve work flow. Suggestions for improvements that cost money are not going to get approved. Just getting a new printer approved was a multi week process. Almost no diversity in the staff. Stingy vacation days, low pay, and reviews/raises were ad hoc and did not happen yearly. 0 work life balance. If you try to leave on time regularly, you are not a team player or doing enough. I was denied larger raises because of this. Worked whole weekends and was not compensated in any way. Taking sick days or personal days sometimes aroused suspicion and questioning. Upper management is very passive aggressive and has no concept of the professional - EVERYTHING is a personal matter/personal attack. Depending on what dept you are in, it is not enough to be helpful and friendly in the typical office way. Upper management expects you to be best friends with them, and if they think you're doing less, it's a huge problem. Vendettas against people who quit. Anyone who left during my time, including myself, was seen as personally attacking upper management, and was treated badly during their last couple weeks (guilt tripped, berated, thrown out of management's office, ignored, etc). Summary: I wish I'd taken advantage of NY being a one party state and recorded conversations with upper management, I'm sure the ACLU would've loved to hear them. Live and learn, I guess.

Pros
None I can find after thinking really hard. Horrible place.
Cons
It is a very very questionable place. I don't even know how they are still surviving with their 1990's practices. Old fashioned and outdated minds and setup. It might soon cripple due freelance market and modern competitors. I would really advise tech people to avoid working for this company and look for better career options unless they cant get any offers from other places.

Creative Production Artist
Oct 31, 2016 - Creative Production Artist in Doraville, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Advancement opportunities, corporate culture was good, location was great.
Cons
At the time, our production department didn't get enough to move into another branch of the company before we were laid off. Not much else to say as a con, even with the dissolving of our department.

Sr Lead Software Engineer
Feb 27, 2014 - Senior Lead Software Engineer in Norcross, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Offered an above average salary at the time of being hired.
Cons
Upper management runs the company as a bunch of frat boys looking out for themselves. Everyone else is treated with no respect and as very disposable pawns. Management direction is hopelessly flawed and will dome the company to inevitable failures. Massive turnover rate is evident in people jumping ship or just getting walked out the door for speaking factually.
